BIOGRAPHY

Brittania Nicol is an American Actress living in London.  She was born in Ohio and raised in South Carolina by her American mother and English father.  At the age of 15 she visited her aunt (Lesley Nicol) in London to watch her in the West-End musical "Mamma Mia."  It was there, during a tour of the theatre, that she fell in love with acting and started pursuing her career.  At the age of 17 she moved to London and began studying one on one with some of England's top teachers.  At 19, she moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Six months after graduating, Brittania co-produced a production of Michaelanne Forsters' "Daughters of Heaven" in which she played the lead and met with acclaim from Los Angeles theatre critics.  She was nominated for a Best Actress Garland Award.  Following the success of her play she decided to move back to London and set up residence in the UK.  Eight weeks after her arrival she was cast as the lead (Beth Boothby) in Robin Hardy's “The Wicker Tree,” a follow up to the cult-classic “The Wicker Man.”  The film is set for release in late in 2010.
